"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." ~Pablo Picasso
I had computer issues this past week too, so I am catching up on "day job" (I type medical transcription), but while I type I often look at jewelry on Pinterest or deviantArt or a couple of other sites. I pin all my favorite finds so if you'd like to see what I'm ogling you can find me on Pinterest and follow a board or two, or all of them if you think what I'm pinning is groovy.
Anyway, I was (am) supposed to be typing, but all the ogling gave me the urge to make something, so I took a detour on a bathroom break and got stuck at my jewelry bench (oops..), and sort of "threw this together." Okay, it took me a little longer than that. I was thinking copper, and swirly, so that's what it is. The stone is "Picasso" jasper, accented by a garnet.
This stone has a protective energy, but also a wildly creative energy. If you seriously need to take your inner child out to play, it's definitely what you need! Fingerpainting and coloring books are definitely okay. So is stopping at the bench on a mad whim to create when you have a week's worth of work to do. ;)
