You've Got Maille's Workmanship Guarantee

The Workmanship Guarantee Part:
I guarantee all chainmaille and wire-wrapped items against wear and defects in workmanship. This covers:
It does NOT cover:
If you experience any of the problems in the "covered" list please send me an email. You will then send the item back to me with return postage and I will repair it for free. In some instances I cannot repair the item, such as parts no longer being made or no longer being made the same (for example, my ring suppliers have gone from making matte anodized aluminum rings to shiny rings now, so adding new rings in would look quite odd on some older pieces). In instances where the piece cannot be replaced I will make you as close a facsimile as I can manage, for the cost of the new materials needed. I want you to enjoy your YGM jewelry for a LONG time to come.
I guarantee all chainmaille and wire-wrapped items against wear and defects in workmanship. This covers:
- Breakage of links in chainmaille items
- Stones falling out of settings
- Color wear on anodized rings, provided the items were used as intended (i.e. you didn't run over it with your car or run it through a trash compactor)
- Clasp breakage
- Stretching wear on rubber rings
It does NOT cover:
- Breaking of chains that I did not make (i.e. manufactured chains that go with pendants)
- Loss
- Stones shattering - some of the stones (turquoise, for example) are very soft and will break if dropped, so be careful with them.
- Beadweaving - all beadwoven items are very difficult to repair and while I may try to repair them for you, I can't offer to do so for free
- Strung beadwork - I will do my best to fix it for you if you have all the beads, if they break.
- Inappropriate use - i.e. you lit your hacky sack on fire and it didn't survive (it won't, this has been tested... if you want fireproof you'll need a titanium one with kevlar wicking... use at your own risk!)

Lifetime Care Policy
All tarnishable metals (these include sterling silver, copper, brass, bronze, and to a lesser degree Argentium silver) come with a Lifetime Care Policy. All of these metals WILL tarnish and I've found that the best way to keep them shiny is to tumble-polish them with a burnishing compound, which would be difficult for you to do at home. But here is what you CAN do.
When you order a tarnishable item, I will send it to you with a tarnish care kit, consisting of plastic baggie and a 3M nontarnish strip (black paper). If you keep the item in this baggie when you're not wearing it, it will tarnish much more slowly. You also get a little polishing cloth with it that you can use when it dulls a little. If you did not receive this kit when you purchased or ordered a copper, sterling, brass, or bronze piece from me, send me an email and I'll send you one for the cost of postage.
When the tarnish care kit isn't cutting it and it's looking a little dull and dingy (or a lot dull and dingy), send it back to me with return postage and I will toss it in the tumbler with a burnishing compound and you will be amazed at the difference when it comes back to you. You can do this every month or every year or as often as you want, as long as you pay the postage.
If you're local you can drop the item off at Fragrant Mushroom Gallery, 12 W Bockman Way in Sparta, and then email me, and I can pick it up there, polish it for you, and drop it back off for you to pick up at your convenience.
