I've discovered something interesting about beadweavers. While the chainmaille community is incredibly open and sharing with patterns, tutorials and knowledge (it's all available free at MAIL and other sites), and the wirework community is only slightly less so (you can buy tutorials, usually, with some free ones, my favorite site for it being Jewelry Lessons), the bead weaving community has proven to be incredibly stingy with patterns being "for personal use only", meaning that I cannot make something from that pattern and then sell it, after purchasing the pattern. Seriously, people?! So, I'd like to thank the people from whom I bought all but two of the above patterns, who allow their patterns to be purchased, made and sold. These include Sandra Halpenny and Deborah Roberti. I am learning a lot from following the instructions of these two incredibly talented ladies. So, kudos and thanks to them, and to the chainmaillers who just started at awesome and let me learn so much when I started in 2008. I'd have been very daunted if I'd started with the seed beads.
Can't help it... I love detail work. These are made with seriously tiny beads and many of them take forever to finish. The result is lovely, though, a piece of fabric made out of glass, or a net of sparkly happiness.
Due to the way these are put together, I can't guarantee them the way I do my other work, because I'd basically have to reconstruct them entirely, and I don't keep materials in stock. Plus, they're just not as sturdy as chainmaille. So be careful with them.
If you'd like something custom done, ask, I may well be able to do it, although I am still in a major learning curve on this stuff.
