Anodized Niobium is an elemental metal, which makes it very hypoallergenic.  When anodized, it becomes a subtle range of brilliant, iridescent colors (pictures do not do it justice!).  Here is a gallery of the available colors, along with the silver and gold-filled that I think it pairs so beautifully with.
