Copper is reputed by many to ease the symptoms of arthritis. Does it
work? I can't attest personally but I have hears that it does. No studies
have proven it, but that's true of a lot of folk medicine. My feeling is, it's
worth a shot, isn't it?
Supposedly copper will be absorbed through the skin, and in many
cases that's the reason your skin turns green, so if that happens, it's
doing its job. It washes off. It will also tarnish the copper. We can
polish it up for you (Lifetime Care Package $5), or if you like the
antiqued, oxidized look, let it be.
We use only solid, uncoated copper in these bracelets. Brass and
bronze are copper alloys and can be used for accents.
Sycamore - delicate European 4-in-1 bracelet $32
This is a LOT of tiny links. It's about an inch and a half wide on your wrist
but looks very lacy. I can add brass or bronze accents if desired.
See the Bracelets page for more designs, all of which can be done in
copper. More to come soon on this page.
