About Our Business

I took a metalsmithing class at the beginning of 2008 and was
hooked.  An acid-etched heiroglyphic triangle made in the class
would've looked really sweet set in a chainmaille collar with the
piece of triangular turquoise bought on eBay.

That piece hasn't been finished yet.  But over 100 items later,
chainmaille, and by extension, wire work, have become a daily part
of life in our household. (What that means:  when we sweep the
floor we hunt through the dust bunnies for tiny rings before we
dump it.  And Russ and Brandon are getting used to me weaving
chainmaille every time I get in the car for a trip that's more than 10
minutes).

We've been Renaissance addicts for years, going to whatever
Renaissance faires are within driving distance, and recently
getting involved with the local middle school Renaissance club,
which has now evolved into a community club called LLORE
(Lords and Ladies of Renaissance entertainment).  This love
provides the backdrop for our business, and some pieces have a
Renaissance flair, but not all.  Each one has its own personality.

Brandon, 15, is the armorer in the family, currently working on a
chainmaille shirt and a coif.  More armor is planned for the future.

And, of course, jewelry.  We have a line of stretchy rubber bracelets
that are extremely hip, yet many of our sterling, base metal and
wire creations are sleek and classy.  We have things for both men
and women (and things that would look great on either),
accessories... well, I'll let you browse and see for yourself.

Thanks for looking!
